![]() ![]() I started using that from 2011 and it was a very smooth transition from Revit to 3ds Max for both Light Analysis and rendering. This is not the first time I do the Light analysis. Mental-Ray-for-3ds-Max-2018-plugin-downloads. I was using 3DS max 2018.4 and Nvidia Mental Ray which I downloaded from here Thanks for taking the time to document this! I look forward to hearing more details about this issue, talk to you Hagen, Thanks for responding. I will test this tool in 3DS Max 2019 to see if its any different as well, but it would be great to get as much information as possible to pass along. Do you have any further settings in the light meter that you have changed from the default settings it starts with? I am reading over this light meter documentation and it doesn't mention how to initiate a visual representation of the lighting effect, which makes it seem like it should show up without further settings being edited. The light meter tool in 3DS Max 2018.4 is giving you a little trouble while using Mental Ray, correct? When you click the "calculate all light meters" button, are there a few seconds of calculations running before nothing is displayed? You are working in 3DS Max 2018.4 using Nvidia Mental Ray for rendering in your scene. Hello for bringing your question to the forums! I want to make sure I have all the information correct.
